Joel "Buddy" Burnett

Joel "Buddy" Burnett, age 79, of Cumming, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was a member of Free Home Community Church. Buddy is survived by his wife Barbara Burnett of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Burnett, Grover Smith, Eddie (Tammy) Smith all of Cumming, James (Jennifer) Burnett of Dawsonville; daughter, Christie Burnett of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, H.B. (Virginia) Burnette of Dahlonega; sister, Edith Chester of Lumpkin County; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin Jones and Pastor Danny May officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
