Joffre Louis "Jeff" Gueymard Jr

Joffre Louis Gueymard Jr (Jeff), 71, of Cumming, GA died Thursday, July 14, 2016 of complications from pulmonary disease. He was born in New Orleans, LA and graduated from LSU with a journalism degree. He was a talented writer with an interest in sports journalism and enjoyed an excellent memory of history as well as trivia of all kinds. Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Colonel Joffre Louis Gueymard and Kathleen McLaughlin Gueymard of Baton Rouge, LA. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Gueymard of Denver, CC and cousins living in Baton Rouge and Morgan City, LA and Vicksburg, MS. A private family service will be held. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
