John Douglas Gore

John Douglas Gore, 78, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey D. Gore and his parents, Reuben and Alice Gore. Survivors include his wife, Betty Vines Gore of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Lori Gore; son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Lisa Gore of Greenville, SC; brother and sister-in-law, James W. and Cheryl Gore of Hoover, Al; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Bill Nelson of Alabaster, Al; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry D. and Becky Gore of Bentonville, AR; grandchildren, Caleb and Sammy Gore, Jonathan and Jordan Gore, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Brett Gore officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from 1p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Samaritan's Purse, The Salvation Army, or The Humane Society.
