Charles and Frances Nash

John Charles Nash, SR, resident of Cumming, GA, born May 7, 1940, in Atlanta, GA, died May 12, 2022, at 82 years of age.

Frances Barrett Nash, resident of Cumming, GA, born January 8, 1942, in Lawrenceville, Ga, died April 25, 2022, at 80 years of age. 

Charles and Frances met in November 1960. After dating for only six weeks, they eloped to Aiken, S.C. on December 17, 1960 to get married. Married for 61 years, Charles and Frances had three children, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Charles and Frances had their own construction business for 45 years. In addition to mentoring his own son, Charles has mentored many young men in the construction trade who now own their own business.

10 Grandchildren: Timothy John (Taylor) Nelson, Scott Nathaniel (Lily) Thompson, Lauren Blair (Josh) Power, Christin Nichole Nelson, Christopher Joseph (Nicole) Nelson, Rebekah Jordan (Christopher) Connolly, Craig Alexander (Catee) Thompson, Bethany Michelle (Steven Ortega) Nelson, Cheyenne Allison Nash, Israel Bennett Nash.

15 Great-Grandchildren: Jacob Connolly, Brooklyn Nelson, Tiana Bui, Logan Nelson, Elijah Power, Arabella Nelson, Cooper Magagna, Jacob Power, Aliya Nelson, Sawyer Magagna, Savannah Connolly, Ollie Nelson, Nathan Power, Zander Nelson, Myles Ortega.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to The American Heart Association and/or The American Cancer Society in honor of John C Nash(SR) and Frances B. Nash. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
