John Richard (Rick) Sapp

John Richard (Rick) Sapp, age 76, of Talking Rock, GA passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was born to James Walter and Jacquetta Mae Sapp on September, 24, 1944 in Springfield, MO.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rebecca E Sapp. Rick is also survived by his daughters, Donna M. Phillips of Buford, GA and Linda K. (Jason) Fitts of Jasper, GA, sister Jacquetta L. (Charles) Yedinak of North Fort Myers, FL, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

He is preceded in death by parents James Walter and Jaquetta Mae Sapp, brother James Walter Sapp Jr., and daughter Sherry Lee Turner.

Rick had a passion for nature and photography. He combined the two hobbies to create many amazing images. He also had a life-long love for playing tennis. Rick was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

A service and interment was held at Milton Fields, Milton GA. Donations can be made in Rick's honor to the Cherokee Arts Center.
