John William Gayton

John William Gayton, age 51, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Talmadge Gayton and his, Talmadge Eugene Gayton. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Chester; mother, Martha Sams; children, Joseph Gayton, Jessica Gayton, Penny Nichols and Vanus Nichols; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Linda Tanner and Carolyn Shirley of Jasper, GA; sister-in-law, Lynn Gayton of Gainesville, GA and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
