Johnnye Burge JB

Johnnye Burge JB of Dunwoody passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Altus House in Atlanta. She was born in Gainesville, Ga. on December 26, 1931. JB was a 1949 graduate of the Avondale High School and during that time was a member of the North Carandon Baptist Church. She later attended Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta. Johnnye was a respected and prominent realtor with ReMax of Greater Atlanta for over 20 years. She resided in Dunwoody for 31 years. She loved gardening, cooking and entertaining in her elegant way.

Johnnye is survived by her daughter, Brenda Tomack of Boca Raton, Fl; son, Larry Burge of Fredricksburg, Va.; Two brothers, Harry Williams of Gainesville, Ga.; and Harold Williams of Avondale Estates, Ga.; Three grandchildren, Candace, Brandon and Jared. Three great grandchildren also survived.

A celebration of her life and memorial gathering will be held a Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. at 8040 River Circle, Dunwoody, Ga. 30350.
