Jonathan Bell aged 46, passed away on the morning of February 12th, 2018. Jonathan was born in Peoria, Illinois but spent most of his life navigating the lakes and waterways of Georgia, Texas, and Louisiana. His career as a Senior Surveyor for the American Bureau of Shipping allowed him to pursue his passion of always being near the water.

Jonathan graduated from Forsyth Central High School in 1991 andbegan his career in the Navy Sea Bees as a Steel Worker 3rd Class.While he earned his degree in Marine Engineering from Texas AM in 2011, Jonathan had become a reserve Lieutenant with the Navy. John was always proud of his accomplishments as a Fighting Seabee and was honored to uphold the traditions of the Navy.

Jonathan leaves behind his wife Crystal and his four-year-old daughter Emma. Crystal and Emma were the light within Jonathans life.Jonathan was blessed to have many friends and family that loved him. He leaves behind his parents, his siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends he blessed with his friendship.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 -11:30 A.M. Saturday March 24th at Ingram Funeral Home. 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040. A religious service with military honors will take place at 1:00 P.M. at Bald Ridge Marina Chapel. 1850 Bald Ridge Marina Rd, Cumming, GA 30041. A reception will follow at Cumming First United Methodist. 770 Canton Highway Cumming, GA 30040.

Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
