Joseph John Bara 83, also known as "Jack," of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on February 21, 2024, after a long illness. Jack was born in Elyria, Ohio, and proudly served for 4 years in the US Air Force. He dedicated many years of his life to the printing sales industry, both nationally and internationally.

Later in his career, Jack relocated to South Florida, where he resided for 28 years. He transitioned his career to become a stockbroker and concluded his professional journey in Real Estate sales. Throughout his life, Jack was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for his work.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn Volpe Bara, who stood by his side through thick and thin. He is also survived by his daughters Lauri Leslie and Sheri Noviello, and their respective husbands Steve Leslie and Mark Noviello. Jack is remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews, as well as his sisters and brothers in law: Kay and the late Dan Meecha, Barbara and Frank Balcik, and Mary Jane and Joel Gleason.

His legacy lives on through his granddaughters Jessica Noviello Draudt, and Phoebe and Abbie Leslie, who brought immense joy and happiness to his life. Jack was an avid golfer, a passionate traveler, and a gracious host who enjoyed entertaining friends and family. In his leisure time, he indulged in reading spy novels, a hobby he cherished.

Above all, Jack's greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his three granddaughters who referred to him as “Papa Jack”. He leaves behind a void that cannot be filled and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

There will be a private service at the Georgia National Cemetery for the immediate family and a Celebration of Life with extended family in Ohio at a later date.
