Joseph Vincent Barowich, Jr.

Joseph Vincent Barowich, Jr. (73) passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 14th. He was the loving husband to Sheila Barowich for more than 50 years.

Growing up in Pennsylvania, he was the son of Joseph and Margaret Barowich who preceded him in death. Joe graduated from Eastern Kentucky University and recently came out of retirement working as sales consultant.

Joe was known for the love he had for family, friends and God. In his free time, you would find Joe playing or watching golf, working in his yard, or watching his beloved Redskins.

He is survived by his loving wife Sheila Barowich; children Shannon Felton, Stacey Barowich and Erica Crump; sister Janice Skinner; brother David Barowich; son-in-laws, Aubrey Felton, Mark Melany, and Matthew Crump; sister-in-laws Suzan Stratton and Christy Barowich; brother-in-law Bill Skinner; Grandchildren Mackenzie Rothfolk and Nicole & Riley Crump; nieces Christine Rodocker, Melissa Rodocker, Kylie Skinner, Emma Barowich and Wendy and Laurie Grace; nephews Travis Skinner, Eli Barowich and his beloved dogs Rosie, Sally and Jazzy.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in his name to the American Heart Associate or to Dr. Orr Animal Hospital where funds support the clinic's rescue efforts, checks can should be made payable to Orr Animal Hospital (1902 Old Atlanta Rd Cumming, GA 30041) and in the memo section please write Rescue: In Memory of Joe Barowich.
