Josephine Samantha King

Josephine Samantha Goodwin King, age 62, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away October 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin King, parents, Mark Lucile Goodwin, and sisters, Joann Silvers, Jean Smith, Mae Lingerfelt. Mrs. King, a member of Four Mile Baptist Church, loved her Bible and Church.

She is survived by her step children; Jimmy Diane King, of Sugar Hill, GA, Amy Dustin Swett, of Dawsonville, brothers sisters; Marcus Essie Goodwin, of Ball Ground, GA, Hazel Boody Wehunt, of Ball Ground, GA, Billy Goodwin, of Ball Ground, GA, Mary Alice Goodwin, of Cumming, GA, James Goodwin, of Cumming, GA, Deana Lingerfelt, of Cumming, GA, Dyan Ronald Allen, of Cumming, grandchildren; Peyton King, Ashley King, Megan King, Charlie Smith, Alex Payne and great granddaughter, Kinleigh Smith.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Four Mile Baptist Church Cemetery in Ball Ground, GA with Rev. Bryan Goodwin Rev. Danny Baker officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
