Josey Burns Blanchard

Josey Burns Blanchard, 73, of Cumming, GA passed away on December 21, 2022, surroundedby her family. Josey was born in Cumming, GA to the late Grayson and Naomi Clark Burns. Josey loved her family and enjoyed spending every moment possible with them. She was the most kindhearted person, and strongest woman for her family. All who knew Josey, knew the type of person she was. Josey never met a stranger and would go out of her way to do anything for anyone. Her family was the center of her life, and her family was everything to her. She loved each and every family member dearly.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Blanchard, her second husband, Anderson Tallant; siblings, Barbara Anderson, Bessie Strayhorn, Sarah Kimbral, Pictricia Burns, Frances Sykes, Claude Burns, Dennis Burns, R.L. Burns, Charles Burns, Norman Burns.

Josey is survived by her children, Vera Blanchard, Vickie & (Fabian) Howard, Cathy Blanchard Shipp, Johnny Blanchardl; daughter in-law, Diane & (Ricky) Tallant; stepdaughters, Barbara & Steve Pitts, Donna & (Leon) Cruse, Karon Kalb; sister, Ruby Martin, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, GA 30040.
