Joyce Ann Grogan

Joyce Ann Lance Grogan, age 79, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her home, after a long illness. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son Ricky Grogan, parents Homer and Pauline Lance, brothers Lamar and Wendell Lance. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Grogan of Cumming, daughter, Michelle (Dan) White of Lathemtown; daughter-in-law, Joy Grogan of Cumming; grandchildren, Derrick (Kelley) Grogan of Cumming, Trevor Grogan of Cumming, Chastity (Cody) West of Ball Ground, Lance White of Lathemtown; great grandson, Timothy Grogan; sister, Myra McDaniel of Buford; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ellen and Derrel Carnes of Cumming; nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 6th at 3:00 pm at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Saturday, 10:00 am until 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon until hour of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, c/o Ronnie Croy, 6104 Heardsville Road, Cumming, GA 30028 in memory of her.
