Joyce E. Taylor

Joyce E. Taylor, age 78, of Buford passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 1, 2012. A native of Prattville, AL, Joyce was a retired nurse and had worked at The Disney Store. She, along with her husband Vance, devoted her life to helping transport children to the Shriners' Hospitals for Children. Survivors include her husband, Vance A. Taylor of Buford; a son, Norman Patrick Rogers of Montgomery, AL; cousins, Sarah Simpson of Prattville, AL, Sonia Shaw of Seymore, TN and Cecilia Goode of Lagrange, GA and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 6, at 1:00 PM at the residence of Mr. Richard Taylor. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to offset expenses.
