Joyce Marie King

On November 19th, 2016, Joyce Marie King, of Cumming, Georgia was called home to her Lord and Savior. Joyce was born January 22nd, 1945, and passed away at the age of 71 years old. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Ron King of Cumming, Georgia. Also survived by her son, Jon Friedman and daughter, Gayle Friedman of Covington, Georgia; step-daughter, Holly (Dave) Boyer of Newbury Park, California; and grand-daughters, Briana and Denae Boyer. Joyce enjoyed sewing, cooking, entertaining, reading and painting. While she took painting classes to learn technique, her amazing skills were self-taught from an early age. She also loved animals, especially her cats, evidenced by a few long lived pets that brought her joy and comfort. In recent years, she thoroughly enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ron.
