Juanita Kidd

Juanita Kidd, 98, of Cumming passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020. Juanita was very active and loved life. She enjoyed camping in her motorhome, fishing and arts and crafts. Juanita began her career as a Naval Cadet Nurse in San Diego, CA where she met her future husband, Raymond W. Kidd. She retired as a Registered Nurse from Georgia Mental Health. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Steven Mallonee, parents, Grover and Viola Scoggin, brother, Eugene Scoggin and her sister, Mary Virginia Gilkison. Juanita was a member of Ebeneezer United Methodist Church in Cumming.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty (Jeannie) and Bill Mallonee; son, Michael Ray Kidd, grandson and his wife, Matthew and Julia Mallonee, great grandson, Andrew Harris; her brother and his wife, John Randolph and Ruth Scoggin; sister-in-law, Dorothy Scoggin; and several nieces and nephews/

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 22, at 4:00 p.m. at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the hour prior to the service.
