Juanita Martin Shadburn, age 83, of Cumming, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, GA. Juanita was the first woman to be hired by Forsyth County School system to drive a school bus. She was a school bus driver for 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Marvin Shadburn; parents, Hubert and Madge Martin; son, Steve Marvin Shadburn; granddaughter, Charlotte Shadburn Hill; brother, Roy Martin; and sisters, Opal Mathis and Louise Jones.
She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, Stanley (Cindy) Shadburn and Helen Shadburn; grandchildren, Jennifer, Emma, Veralea and Otis Shadburn; great granddaughter; Rachel Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Roger (Karen) Martin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Inez Mathis, Marie Barnes, Joyce (Roger) Seay, and Eulene (Hugh) Tinsley; aunt, Flara Loggins; and many other loving friends and relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Shadburn will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Garry English and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
