Juanita Parrish

Mrs. Juanita Parrish, age 83 of Cumming, GA passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Daughter of the late Joseph E. (Mac) McGraw and Birdie McGraw, she was born January 1, 1926 in Avera, GA and lived a large part of her life in Thomson, GA. Juanita was married to Albert McGahee Jr. until his death in 1957. She moved to Augusta in 1964. She married Norman Armstrong Parrish in 1966. Mrs. Parrish was a hair dresser and member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda McGahee Boyd of Cumming; granddaughter, Lisa Boyd Zinsmeister of Asheville, NC; grandson, Shaun Boyd of Braselton, GA; great grandson, Owen Michael Zinsmeister and great granddaughter, Parker Belle Zinsmeister both of Asheville, NC. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, December 17th, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens in Thomson, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA on Wednesday, December 16th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
