Julie Kathleen Watkins Lamb

Julie Kathleen Watkins Lamb, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, tragically passed away on September 8th, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on March 23rd, 1952, in Mobile, AL, Julie’s life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering dedication.

Julie’s journey took her from her Southern roots in Mobile to the picturesque landscapes of Dawsonville, GA, where she spent over 20 years with her beloved husband, Charles Christopher Lamb. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and joy, sharing their lives with their two loyal dogs, Atlas and Cool.

Julie was a proud mother to two daughters, Shay Bailey and Jamie Watts, and a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren: Bailey Huhn, Noah Huhn, and Piper Cagle. Her family was the center of her world, and her love and support for them knew no bounds.

In addition to her role as a mother and grandmother, Julie made her mark in the real estate world, where she spent over three decades helping countless families find their dream homes. Her passion for real estate was matched only by her love for her garden. Julie found immense satisfaction in canning vegetables from her own garden, a testament to her nurturing spirit and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

Julie’s family and friends will always remember her for her loving nature, her stubborn yet endearing resolve, and her strength that inspired those around her. She was a pillar of support and a source of boundless love for her daughters and grandchildren.

Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Chris Lamb; her daughters, Shay Bailey and Jamie Watts; her grandchildren, Bailey Huhn, Noah Huhn, and Piper Cagle; and her extended family and friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and generosity.
