Karl Theodore Sammons, Jr.

Karl Theodore Sammons, Jr., age 80 of Suwanee, passed away January 5, 2025 at his home and in peace. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 14, 1944 to the late Dr. Karl Theodore Sammons and the late Mary Ethelyn DuPont, he attended Peacock Military Academy and the University of Tennessee, from which he graduated in 1966. In 1968, he married the love of his life, Linda Faye Milsaps, and they raised two sons together during their 56 years of marriage. His distinguished career in sales and marketing allowed him to travel the world and enjoy experiences that he shared with everyone he knew. Karl retired in 2002 and always served as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and member of his church community.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons and their spouses, Karl Theodore III and Chelsea, and Jay and Nir; two brothers, Reid and Donald; and four grandchildren, William, Owen, Siena and Karl Theodore IV.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 15 at 5:00pm at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church in Suwanee, with The Reverend Father Tripp Norris officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made in Karl’s memory to St. Columba’s Episcopal Church.
