Kate H. Corn

Kate H. Corn, age 84 of Cumming, GA, passed away on August 26, 2013. Kate was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pierce H. Corn; daughter, Joyce Corn Roberts; parents, Jeff and Lilly Heard; siblings, Mildred Bottoms, Roy Heard, Bud Heard, Dean Corn and Bobbie Stripland. Survivors include her; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Guy Ann Corn; daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Tim Holland; son and daughter-in-law, John and Laura Corn; son-in-law, Jerry Roberts; sister, Artie Hammond; brother, Hugh Heard; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Allen officiating. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm and Wednesday from 1:00 pm until hour of the service.
