Kate Hyde

Kate Hyde, age 90, of Forsyth County, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 following a brief illness. She was the last of 9 children of General Washington and Lottie Arizona Spriggs Reavis. Kate is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edward Hyde and a very special granddaughter, Pam Wright. Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Humphreys of Alpharetta, Connie Wright of Dawsonville, Wanda Hardin of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. J.W. Watson, Rev. Jerry Orr, Rev. Tim Biddy, Rev. Clyde Boling and Rev. Johnny Padget officiating. Interment will follow at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 6 to 9, Sunday from 9 to 9 and Monday, until the hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
