Kathryn Day Free, age 79, of Cumming, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clayton Free. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Maria Free of Dawsonville; daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Ron Bennett of Cumming, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ken Townley of Cumming; grandchildren, Phillip Bennett, Nick Wilbanks, Jill Wilbanks, Krystle and Philip Lyerly, Chase Wilbanks, Clay Free, Crystal Hanson, Katie and Robert Dean, Joey and Brandy Bennett and Melissa Driggers; great grandson, Jackson Driggers; great granddaughter, Avery Lyerly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mack and Norene Day of Clairmont, David Day of Gainesville; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Bruce of Gainesville, Lillie Mae and Bobby Reid of Cumming; brother-in-law, Robert Free of Cumming; sister-in-law Ethel Sosebee of Blue Ridge; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rodney Pilcher and Rev. Edwin Terry officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
