Kay Lynn Lozier passed away June 21, 2010 in Cumming, GA after her battle with Lou Gehrigs disease (ALS). Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends Kay had touched throughout her extraordinary life.

Kay was born in Mattoon, IL. She was raised in Odessa, Texas by her mother Babe Ruth Terry Hulsey and her father Charles D. Terry. Kay graduated from Ector High School in 1963. She has lived in the Atlanta area since 1977.

In 1990, she went to school to become a Nurse Technician and began her 19 year career at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta (Scottish Rite). She was recognized as the first Employee of the Month awarded by the hospital.

Her interests included her family, friends, animals, and her work. She was an outstanding gardener and cook. She was a devoted mother and friend with a smile and a laugh that brightened so many days.

She was predeceased by her mother, Babe Ruth Terry Hulsey, her father Charles D. Terry, and her brother Eugene Douglas Terry.

Left to cherish her memory are daughter and son in law, Melanie Kay Henke and Greg Henke; her brother, Michael Dean Terry, her cousin Patty Koester and her niece Gena Terry.

A memorial service and a reception celebrating her life will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday June 29th at The Huntcliff Club, 9072 River Run Atlanta, GA 30350.
