Kaylyn Anne O’Gara passed away on Friday January 20, 2023 in Cumming GA. She was 25.
Kaylyn was born on August 17, 1997 in Hackensack NJ. Her parents moved to Marlboro NJ in 1997 when she was an infant. Kaylyn was a sweet and happy child. She grew up to be a beautiful, smart, talented writer and artist.
In her short life, Kaylyn had an impact on so many. She was an amazing daughter, grand-daughter, sister and friend. Kaylyn was accepting of everyone she encountered and passionate about her beliefs.
When in Middle School, Kaylyn qualified for a program at John’s Hopkins Center for Talented Youth where she took college level writing courses. She graduated from Marlboro High School and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ where she was majoring in Psychology. She expressed an interest in hospital patient advocacy based on her own experiences.
In keeping with her loving spirit, Kaylyn is giving the gift of life to many others through the LifeLink organ donation program. Kaylyn is survived by her parents, Greg and Lori, younger sister Natalie, her grandmother Marie and grandfather Cosmo. She is predeceased by her grandparents James and Tamara O’Gara (“grandma from Florida”).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 24th at 11:00 at Ingram Funeral Home at 210 Ingram Avenue Cumming GA 30040 followed by a short service at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens 1390 Dahlonega Highway, Cumming GA. 30040.
