Keith Alan Ling believed strongly that Jesus was all his hope and stay.
Nothing could shake his love for the God of scripture. After three years of battling cancer, he went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 19th, 2020.
Keith was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. On his mothers side he could claim a Cherokee Indian heritage. He lost his mother, Sylvia Murdoch, when he was 16. Though he was raised in Baptist and Pentecostal churches growing up, his true love for God began through Reformed University Fellowship while at Georgia Southern College where he received a degree in business, and developed a hunger for the Reformed Presbyterian Faith of the Puritans, the Covenanters, and the Huguenots.
In the mid 1980s, he met his future wife, Kelly Wilkinson, at Chalcedon Presbyterian Church, now in Cumming, Georgia. Keith later became a deacon at Heritage Presbyterian Church in Cumming.
Keiths one constant love, besides his family and God, was music. He loved music, and the joy of music so much that his love for music gave him two successful DJ companies, Class Act Party Productions and All Star Kids Party DJs, both of which he ran as family businesses, with his wife and five children helping out.
In recent years, Keith had survived two successful battles with cancer.
He lived long enough to see three of his five children married, and the birth of his granddaughter who, at an early age, already exhibits faith in Christ.
Keith is survived by his wife Kelly, his son Joshua and wife Kay Cee and his granddaughter Hazel; his son Jonathan and wife Nicole; his son Christopher; his daughter Abigail (Boles) and her husband Trey; and his son Daniel.
Keith is also survived by his extended family, the members of Christs bride, the Church. In the bond of mutual love for Christ and a redeemed love for one another that passes all earthly understanding, Gods revealed story of the Gospel to our hearts, which makes us more than conquerors, through Him Who loved us and gave Himself for us.
Jesus died; but He arose from the grave! and so shall we. That was the profession of Keiths faith and hope and that of our family.
