Mr. Kelly Dalton Johnston, 64, of Cumming, GA passed Monday, Dec. 5, 2011. Kelly retired from EMS Technologies in 2005 after 24 years of service. He was a 1965 graduate of Sandy Springs High School, where he was captain of the football team during his senior year. He also received the Players Choice Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship in 1963. Kelly loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid fan of sports and classic cars. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his love, kindness, warmth, easy going spirit and love of God. He will be deeply missed by all. Preceded in death by his father Emory Johnston and brother Randy Johnston, he is survived by his wife of 37 years Beverly; daughter Jennifer; sons and daughters-in-law Rob and Amanda Malone, Marc and Kim Malone, Kevin and Lisa Malone; grandchildren Cory and Katie, Kelly Ann, Taylor, Austin, Nicholas, and Jordan; mother Jeannie Johnston; sister and brother-in-law Carla and Mark Adams; nephew Jason Adams; Uncle and Aunt Robert and June Gilbreath. A celebration of Kellys life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
