Kenneth Dicks, Jr.

Kenneth Dicks, Jr., 47, of Cumming, GA passed away June 1, 2024. In the city where he resided with his wife Monica Jefferson-Dicks and children Kenneth III, Kenon, Maranda, and Mariah Dicks. Kenneth was born in Miami, FL to Kenneth Dicks, Sr. and Francina White. Kenneth was a larger-than-life personality and commanded your attention when you were around him. He was a devoted husband and father to his children. He served in the U.S. Army. This taught him a great deal of which he used those skills andtransformed his abilities into being an awesome coach and mentor.Through his enthusiasm for helping others, he taught with encouragement. He touched many lives. “I can’t” was not in his vocabulary. He made everyone he worked with believe that they could do anything. He enriched the lives of an infinite number through his passion for teaching.

 Ken was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dicks Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years; his children; granddaughter, Kendalyn Dicks; brother, sisters; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be June 5th @ 1pm at Denmark High School Stadium. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to help offset funeral expenses and a memorial fund for Kenneth’s children.
