Kenneth Edward Arndt

Kenneth Ken Kenny Edward Arndt, age 59 of Marietta, GA passed away Sunday October 28, 2012 after a battle with cancer.

Ken was born in San Diego, California on December 31, 1952. He grew up in southern California, and later moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin a career in the RV industry as the southeastern rep for A&E Systems. He was recognized as a top performer and was later promoted to vice president of sales overseeing all accounts before A&E was acquired by Dometic Corp in 1987. Two years later he started his own manufacturers representative firm, Repco Marketing. His career in the RV industry lasted 33 years, during which he helped build a bridge between suppliers and their customers. He touched the lives of many in the industry and was widely respected by his peers.
Ken enjoyed life and believed in living it to its fullest potential. He loved playing golf and tennis. He also enjoyed travel, especially to see family. Recently he has found joy in feeding his squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbit. Ken also enjoyed the full spectrum of the newest technology from phones to cars. He loved cooking and eating a great meal, and having good company made him enjoy it even more. He also loved planting flowers and vegetables and taking care of them and watching them grow.

Ken is survived by his wife, Kathy Arndt of Marietta and their children Lauren (24) and Blaire (13). He is also survived by his mother, Jacqueline Arndt of St. Helena, California; his stepmother, Rosemary Arndt of Hohokus, NJ; his sister Suzanne and her husband Ralph Morris of Hoquiam, WA and their children Christopher and Adam Morris; his brother Ed and his wife Sue Arndt of Worcester, MA and their children Eddie and Lucas Arndt; his brother Chris and his wife Kristin Arndt of Alpharetta, GA and their children Jack, Grant (Kens God Son), and Cole Arndt; and his sister Kerry Arndt of Hohokus, NJ. He is preceded in death by his father Edward Arndt of Hohokus, NJ.

The celebration of Kens life is Saturday November 10, 2012 @ 1pm in the sanctuary of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church (4385 Lower Roswell Rd, Marietta, GA, 30068).
