Kenneth (Ken) Housworth

Kenneth (Ken) Housworth from Forest Park, passed away on May 1, 2022. He was 87 years old. He was born in Atlanta in 1935 and remained in Atlanta until his death. He earned the bragging rights of becoming a “Native Atlantan”.

Kenneth is survived by his two children, Greg Housworth and Lori Housworth Wade. He had 3 grandchildren, Taylor Housworth, Daniel Wade and Michelle Reyes. He also is the Great Grandfather of Caden Housworth and Selena Reyes.

Ken’s family members included his deceased siblings, Virginia Shofner, Evan Housworth and Jack Housworth. His parents Flonnie Mae and Evan Howell Housworth passed many years ago.

His wife of 37 years, Brenda Housworth passed in the year before his death. She was a wonderful wife for him. They liked to do many things and enjoyed the same interests. This led to their driving many times out west. These trips became their favorite memories and they loved to tell you about these trips which remained the best memories throughout the rest of their lives.

Kenneth was a great and amazing photographer that produced professional quality pictures of all their travels and anything he wanted to photograph. He took extra time to make sure he had a perfect photo.

Kenneth was always adventurous beginning with Greg and Lori when they were children. His adventurous spirit led he and Brenda to travel extensively out west.

Ken was the most honest person we had ever known.
