Larry Lamar Henson

Larry Lamar Henson of Bowdon Georgia passed away at home on Thursday, June 20, 2019 after his four-year battle with cancer. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 15, 1965 to Joanne and Ray Wallis of Cumming, Georgia and he was adopted by Maryanne and Leonard Henson from Atlanta Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Bell and his father, Ray Wallis and his adoptive parents, Maryanne and Leonard Henson. He is survived by his wife of seven years Beverly Denise Henson of Bowdon Georgia. His son's; Brandon Henson and his three children, Preston (Bernadette) Henson and their four children, Timothy Henson and his four children and Jesse Henson; daughters, Kimberly Henson and her two children, youngest daughter Abby Henson; stepdaughters, Destiny Robinson, Amber Jerome, Addie Tatum. His brothers and sisters; Wayne (Coreen) Wallis, Chevy (Anita) Richards, Sandra (Ricky) Pruitt, Wanda (Jeff) House, Patsy (Eddie) Smith, Kimberly Turner and Victoria (William) Chastain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other family. Live to Ride, RIP Aka Cruze.

The family will receive friends at Byars Funeral Home on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, 1:30 p.m. at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA 30040.
