Larry Lee Smith

LARRY LEE SMITH, age 54, of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

Mr. Smith was born on September 17, 1964 in Forsyth County, Georgia. He was the son of Beatrice Nichols Smith Roper of Cumming, GA and the late James "J.W." Smith. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Mac Roper. Larry was a dedicated employee of Hoover Precision Products with over 30 years of service. He worshipped at The Church at War Hill.

In addition to his mother, survivors include: his wife, Misty Wright Smith, Dawsonville, GA; his children, McKenzi and Corbin Thomas, Gainesville, GA; Sawyer Smith and Grayson Smith, Dawsonville, GA; his father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Gail Wright, Dawsonville, GA; his siblings, Cathy Smith, Sycamore, GA, Robin Bailey, Randy and Robin Smith, and Jerri and Jay Baisden, all of Cumming, GA. Brother in law and sister in law: Spencer and Lora Wright, Dawsonville; sister in law and brother in law: Stormie And John Whitfield, Cornelia; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019 at The Church at War Hill in Dawsonville, Georgia with Rev. Wilson Pruitt, Rev, Jerry Frazier, and Pastor Don Allen officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Byars Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
