Lee Gillespie, 94, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Emily Gillespie, son, Richard Gillespie, daughter and son-in-law Gail and Bill Turner, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lee served in the 15th Air Force, 783rd Squadron in World War II. He was retired from the paper and plastics industry. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m at New Hope United Methodist Church, with a visitation prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., and interment in the church cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the New Hope United Methodist Church or charity of your choice. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
