Lena McPherson Harrison

Lena McPherson Harrison of Monroe, GA, age 75, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015. Lena was an active member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, W. L. Harrison. Survivors include her children, Belinda Harrison of Cumming, Wanda (Greg) Couey of Loganville, Cindy (Curtis) Pettus of Monroe, and Terry Harrison of Monroe, and sisters Dorothy (Franklin) McPherson and Ruby (James) Ray of Canton; two grandchildren, Christian Pettus, Mary Kate Couey, special great-niece, Brandie Mobley of Monroe, and special great,great nephew, Desmen Smith of Monroe, and David Pettus, Jr., a young man who is like a grandson. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin McPherson and Rev. Phillip McPherson officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
