Leslie Myles Jacobs

Les Jacobs, 73, of Suwanee, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 9 while surrounded by his family.

Les is survived by his wife of 42 years Elayne, two children Caren Maher and Adam Jacobs and their spouses Jim Maher and Elise Jacobs. He also leaves behind three beautiful granddaughters, Lauren (10), Allison (2) and Kelsey (2) who will miss their "Poppy" very much.

A resident of Georgia for nearly two years, Les was active in many networking organizations including the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce. He was always excited to meet new people and was guaranteed to make you smile. Prior to moving to the area in 2010, Les and his family spent over 30 years living in South Florida. In addition to owning various businesses, he always took the time to coach his kids in every sport they played, especially golf.

Les was born in Bronx, NY where he lived for nearly 30 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 11th, 2011 at 1pm for a Celebration of Life Service. The service will be held at the Byars Funeral Home Chapel.
