Lewis G. Darnell

Lewis G. Darnell, age 87, of Cumming, GA, went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2023.  He was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County.  Lewis was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church, a church he loved so much!  He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Cecile Darnell; stepmother, Katherine Darnell; brother, Stanley Darnell; sons, Richard Darnell, Dan Darnell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Hazel Darnell; son, Morris (Cynthia) Darnell; grandchildren, Holly Rich, Bradley (Amanda) Darnell, Whitney (Kyle) Hollingsworth, Evan (McKenzie) Darnell; great grandchildren, Eli, Ethan, Elle, Owen, Tanner, Zoe, Easton, Bailey, Reid; sister-in-law, Sue Darnell; several nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Daves Creek Baptist Church on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Dusty Holtzclaw and Rev. Michael Cantrell officiating.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The visitation will be at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
