Lewis Holt Hudson

Lewis Holt Hudson, 51, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday February 14th, 2022, in Cumming, Ga.  Born on April 2, 1970, in Forest Park, Ga., he was the son of Holt Hudson and Elaine Akin Hudson.  Lewis graduated from Morrow HS, went to work for Delta and from there he became a freelance audio-visual technician and traveled throughout the US. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his infectious laugh, and his big heart.  Lewis loved flying his drones, playing the drums, and watching endless hours of YouTube.  He showed love to all that he met and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. The one thing that Lewis loved more was being surrounded by his friends and family.  He enjoyed entertaining with a cookout, game night, movie night or really any excuse to be around the people he loved.  Lewis made an impact on so many lives, from people he met once to friends/family he has known for years.  He had a spark that was unforgettable and contagious.  The world would be a better place if we all had Lewis's kindness and love for people and zest for life.  Lewis was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine, and his grandparents, Mary and Homer Lewis Akin of Forest Park.

He is survived by his father, Holt Hudson of Dallas, GA; fiancée, Cindy Scoggin of Cumming, GA, her children Benjamin (Jessica), Leanna, Isabella, and Terri Anne; his brothers, John Hudson (Ashley) of Norcross, GA;  James Hudson (Rachel) of Nashville, TN; sister, Mary Ellen Benz (Tyler) of Denver, CO; nieces and nephews: Brynlee, Mackenzie, Emmaline, Camilla, John David, Robert, and Bernadette; his aunt and uncle, Kathy Akin and Wil Dover. 

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10.30 am with a memorial service at 11 am at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Ave, Cumming, Ga 30040. Open to all. After the service, we would ask you all to join us at Wild Wing Alpharetta, 5530 Windward Pkwy, Alpharetta, Ga 30004, for a Celebration of Lewis's life.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
