Lieu Weda Brackett

Lieu Weda Brackett, age 94 of Cumming, passed away on February 24, 2014. Lieu was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Brackett. Lieu is survived by her children, Jimmy and Janice Brackett of Cumming, GA, Jackie C. and Stacy Paulk Brackett of Ellijay, GA, Brenda Voyles, and Howard and Teresa Brackett of Cumming, GA; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Vaughan, Rev. Horace Richards and Rev. Nathan Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mrs. Brackett was a supervisor at Lad n Dads Pants factory for many years. She was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and a member of the VFW women's auxiliary. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
