Lila Henretta Johnson, age 76, a lifelong resident of Cumming, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015.She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. She was an avid seamstress, vegetable gardener and cook. Lila was also a member of Longstreet Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Johnson; parents, Charlie and Estelle Waldrop; sister and brother-in-law Lula Bell and J.W. Sams and her brothers, C.O. Waldrop and William Waldrop. Lila is survived by her children, Andy Johnson (Penny Padgett), Dan (Patty) Johnson, Selina Hewatt, Randy Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Hardy and Violet Waldrop; sister-in-law, Betty Waldrop; grandchildren, Joe Johnson, Trisha Gail Holtzclaw, Danella Kreiser, Curtis Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Daniel Ingram, Donna Hamby, Chris (Bryan) Flanagan, Samantha (Eric) Hazelwood, Casey (Melissa) Moon, Sara Hewatt, Tyler Johnson, Nicole Ray and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Longstreet Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Padgett and Rev. Terry Caylor officiating. Interment will follow at Long Street Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
