Linda A. Newmon

Linda A Newmon, 79, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on November 10, 2021 surrounded by family, from natural causes.

Born and raised in Clayton County, she graduated from Forest Park Senior High in 1960. After graduating she faithfully served Delta Airlines for 33 years before retiring. Linda enjoyed her continued friendships with her Delta family and 1960 Girls Lunch group.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Buster, her parents Roy and Laura, her siblings, Libby, Red and Tony, and her sister-in-law, Edna Mae. Linda is survived by her son Jimmy, his wife Keri, grandsons Jacob and Will, sister-in-law Susan, brother-in-law Junior (Mary) and numerous Newmon family nieces and nephews, nieces, Tracey (Walt), Lori (David) and Stacey (Stacy), nephews Matthew and Josh (Katherine), great nephews Jake, David and Alex, great nieces Shae, Abby, Kelly, Laura Elliott and Courtland, great-great nephew Jaxon and great-great niece Kaiya.

Great appreciation is expressed to Chaplain Betty Ewing, all the nurses, caregivers at Halcyon Hospice Care and friends she considered family, Ruthie Zawadzki and Dot Gaffney, along with many friends who stayed with, and checked in on her often.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of service
