Linda Leigh Bennett

Linda Leigh Bennett, a truly remarkable Christian woman, peacefully passed away on August 31st, 2023, in Cumming, GA, at the age of 73 while she was surrounded by her family. Born on January 4, 1950, in San Antonio, Texas, Linda has now found joyful reunion with Our Father in Heaven and her beloved parents, Bruce & Bettye Woodlief, who preceded her in death.

Linda's life is a source of celebration, as she leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. She is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy & Mike Wood and Gail & Rick Brundage, her three daughters, sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, Marcie & Frank Parker, Stacie & Kimberly Morris, and Lorie & Kurt Boyce, her five adored grandchildren, Kellie & Mike Bishop, Marlena & Allen Beckham, Olivia & Austin Wright, Evelyn Parker, and Christopher Dulaney, and her five precious great-grandchildren, Ethan, Annalise, Amberleigh, Eloise, and Marjorie.

Linda's spirit was as vibrant as her faith in Jesus Christ, and she delighted in singing old gospel hymns. She was not only a successful and inventive business woman but also a creative entrepreneur who excelled in a variety of pursuits, from cooking to crocheting, online game coding to ceramic doll-making. Her greatest joy, however, was being the matriarch of her family, imparting wisdom and life experiences to guide and nurture her loved ones. Linda never missed an opportunity to drop everything and lend an attentive ear or offer a comforting word. She dedicated her life to raising, teaching, and guiding her daughters and grandchildren. Her legacy of warmth and nurturing will forever be treasured by her family, a testament to the extraordinary woman she was.

To honor Linda's memory, her family will have a private celebration of her life in Anderson, SC, where they will gather to cherish the enduring impact she made on all of their lives.
