Linda Diana Jones

Linda Diana Jones, 57 years old of Cumming, GA lost her courageous battle with Huntington's disease October 15th 2013. Linda was born in Atlanta but lived in Forsyth County the majority of her life. She graduated from Forsyth County High School in 1974. She helped run the family business "The Lantern Inn" restaurant on Browns Bridge Rd until it's closing in December 2006. Linda was also a loyal member of Brown Bridge Community Church. Although faced with the challenges of Huntington's disease she remained positive, full of life and embraced each day to the fullest. Linda Jones is preceded in death by her father Harold L. Jones. She is survived by her mother Virginia M. Jones, sister Debbie L. Jones, brother Mike L. Jones, sister in-law Brooke D. Jones, nieces Tracy L. Jones, Stephanie L. Jones, Chastity G. Vinson, Michaelyn B. Jones, nephew Matthew L. Jones. Great niece Brooklyn "Piper" Jones, great nephews Benjamin M. Dempsey, Kenneth L. Jones, Mason R. Jones. Lastly, her beloved cat. Funeral services will be Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Day officiating. Interment will follow in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family is receiving friends at Ingram Funeral Home On Friday from six until nine in the evening and Friday from Nine in morning until the hour of service.
