Linda Joyce Staten Pierce

Linda Joyce Staten Pierce of Canton, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 19.  Linda was born in Johnson City, TN on November 12, 1948, to the late Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Staten. Linda loved her family immensely and always put them first.

Linda is preceded in death by her brothers Ken, Bill and Carl Staten and sister Barbara Taylor. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kim and Barry Healey and Mark and Laurie Pierce; sisters Mary Ann Hatley and Pat (Bob) Cox; brother Jimmy Staten; sister-in-law Barbara Staten; grandchildren TJ Caldwell, Sarah (Allen) Roberts and Dylan (Laurin) Pugh; great-granddaughter Kambry Roberts; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Linda enjoyed beach trips with loved ones, traveling the world, and visiting casinos. She inherited a love for flowers and gardening from her mother. Linda was also a lifelong Elvis fan.

The family will hold a private service at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
