Linda Lou Shadburn

Ms. Linda Lou Jones Shadburn, 74, of Cumming departed this life October 12, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. Linda was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County spending most of her life in the Ducktown and Heardsville community. Linda was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church; most important she was saved by the grace of God! Linda was Homecoming Queen and a graduate from Forsyth County High School with honors class of 1969. Linda loved to read, listen to country music and Elvis, loved to root for the Atlanta Falcons and she also loved her home life and family. Mrs. Shadburn is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Jones, Mother, Kodell Evans, stepfather, Buddy Evans and brother-in-law Carrigan Gayton.

Survivors include Waylon Shadburn, siblings, Rita Gayton, Rhonda Jones and William Jones (Denise) brother-in-law, Lanny Collins, nieces and nephews, Mickey Gayton, Misti Moore (Richard), Brandon Collins, Autumn West (Adam), Lindsey Quarles (Beau), Abbey Elliott (Scott), Josh Jones (Marci) and Evan Collins (Shelby). Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Linda Lou Jones Shadburn will be Wednesday October 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Randy Richards and Rev. Danny Orr officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Brandon Collins, Evan Collins, Josh Jones, Richard Moore, Collin Moore, and Ethan Moore. Visitation will be Wednesday October 16th from 11:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to CFF.org or Mt.
