Lindell Bagwell Watson

Lindell Bagwell Watson, 93, of Cumming, GA, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. She was born in 1928, to the late George and Lillie Bagwell. Lindell was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church for over 50 years, and was the oldest member of Freedom Tabernacle for the last 21 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Wansley Watson; son, Ronald Watson; and brothers, G.W. (Daleen) Bagwell, and Gene (Dorothy Jean) Bagwell.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Reta and Charles Mathis; daughter-in-law, Brenda Watson; grandchildren, Donna and Lynn Wages, Robbie and Jill Mathis, Dee and Chad Mathis, Nathan and Kerri Mathis; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Imogene Watson; 13 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Tabernacle in Cumming, GA, with Pastor Robbie Mathis, Pastor Jonathan Bennett, and Willy Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Freedom Tabernacle.
