Lisa Gentry Hester

Lisa Hester, age 53, of Heflin, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Lisa was born in 1966, to the late Bud and Helen Gentry. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Mark Gentry.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Scott Hester; son, Haven Hester; sisters, Sandy Gentry and Elaine Gentry (Luke) Hall; mother-in-law, Velma Hester; niece, Amy (Travis) Edmunds; nephew, Carroll (Jennifer) Gayton; along with many loving family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hester will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Michael Ridings and Dr. Scott Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery . The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
