Lohr D. Pickering age 75 passed away peacefully September 2, 2016 at his Cumming GA home. He was born in Jamestown, Ohio to the late Donald and DonnaLou (nee Lewis) Pickering. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1958 and spent the next 25 years serving in the USAF and is a lifetime member of DAV. He is survived by his wife Fran, son Mark (Debbie), daughters Barbara (Doug) Burlingame and Rebecca (Paul) Carver, stepdaughter Donna Bills, brother Don Lynn, sister Rita (Larry) Shewman, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Cumming GA on September 24, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Bowersville, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit Attn: Outreach Program, P.O. 1010, Cumming, GA 30028
