Lois Grogan Wallis, age 97, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012. She was the oldest living member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wallis; parents, Andrew and Anna Grogan; brothers, Felton Grogan, Clay Grogan, Eldo Grogan, Jay Grogan; sisters, Venetta Roper, Wyvonne Cox, Audrey Pruitt and Ophnes Howard. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-laws, Imogene and Wayne Satterfield of Cumming, Peggy and Morris Gilreath of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Belle ( Willis) Pruitt, Mozell (Ford) Andrews, Doris Garrett; grandchildren, Melanie and Keith Sapp of Cumming, Tammy Satterfield of Cumming, Dr. Holly and Howell Coleman of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Caroline and Charles Coleman; step great grandchildren, Catie Schreiman, Kimberly Young, Alex Sapp, Kevin Sapp; families of the late Claborn Wallis and Isabell Chadwick; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Richards, Rev. Clyde Boling and Rev. Edward Wallis officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday from 10a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
