Lonald Holtzclaw

Lonald Holtzclaw, age 69, of Cumming, Ga., passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lonald was a long time member of Concord Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Oasis Choir and the Jimmy Moore Sunday School class. He served the Lord on Missions in Jamaica and Africa where he helped build churches. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Opal Holtzclaw; children, David and Gina Holtzclaw of Cumming, Sherry and Mark Juergens of Cumming; grandchildren, Jake and Caleb Holtzclaw, Joshua and Katelyn Juergens; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Mitchell of Gainesville, Margaret Carlyle of Gainesville, Sandra Hamby of Dawsonville; brothers and sisterin-law, Donald and Eva Holtzclaw of Dawsonville, Larry Holtzclaw of Dawsonville, Johnny Holtzclaw of Cumming, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with Dr. Lester Cooper and Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, October 18, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
