Lorene Dockery Lord

Lorene Dockery Lord, 84, of Murrayville, GA passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022. Mrs. Lord was born in Alpharetta, GA to the late Robert James and Lillie Frances Dockery. Lorene was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA. Mrs. Lord loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, fishing, camping and anything outdoor related. Lorene is preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Jimmy Lord; brothers, Ciscerro Dockery, Roy Dockery; sister, Jane Padgett.

She is survived by her daughters and sons in-law, Darlene and Ricky Pirkle, Sherry and Ralph Smith; son and daughter in-law, James and Donna Lord; sister, Mary Lou Brannon; 9 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, August 18, 2022 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Pirkle and Rev. Tommy Rudasill officiating. Interment will follow at Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 1200 Birmingham RD, Alpharetta, GA 30004. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August16, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040
